History:
Once purchased, the car spent a few months on my drive receiving some of the above additions plus a very thorough clean and polish. It was my first Montego (of only two!) and I was eager to drive such a beautiful machine as this. As of 1st February 2010 D648 PVW was put into service and used daily.
Unfortunately the following winter was harsh on the car and so before the 2011 show season, paintwork to the bonnet and both rear arches was recitified professionally by my local bodyshop. In its freshness the car went on to show at Tatton Park (on both days) and MG Saloon Day at Sandon Hall.
Since being stored through the Winter of 2011/12 (whilst I used my Rover 75 Connoisseur SE V6 daily), the front end of the Silver Bullet was stripped so I could respray the entire front section around the radiator, slam panel, extension panel, radiator and bumper struts. The car is now reassembled, insured and taxed pending its return to the road to be used... wait for it... daily, once again..!
