These arrived today.
I also will be aquiring a newer dash display unit, complete wiring, sensors and a few other digidash parts from a friend in exchange for some early MG Montego Turbo parts.
Complete early headlining and sunroof surround, early electric window switches and early wiring loom. These are different to later (1987 on) cars.Last edited by Jeff Turbo; 16th April 2012, 15:11.1958 Ford Consul Convertible. I love this car

New offside seatbelt and new rear offside seatbelt.
I now have 2 new rear offside seatbelts, can these be used as nearside?
Have tested and found they work perfectly, fit ok and look great.
The front and rear belts are nearly the same so I have modified them to fit the front.Last edited by Jeff Turbo; 15th May 2012, 15:07.1958 Ford Consul Convertible. I love this car

I owned one of those talking dash montego's years ago - nice to see one again. It was a light metallic green A reg (1984) MG 2L EFI. Nice car - had the digital speedo go up to 120mph once - on a private road of course lol. How many are left today i wonder? The trip computer can be way out and light bulb senors can fail easily if i remember correctly. Good project Jeff - looking forward to the finished article.
PS - does it still talk?
