  • Another Royal Blue 2002 Rover 75 Connoisseur SE!

Today my dad collected his new motor, to replace the Rover 75 1.8 Classic SE he has owned for 8 years. It's a 1.8 Connoisseur SE, different from my V6 only by the larger door mirrors and lack of cruise control. Driving it today makes me miss driving my own!

It'll soon receive the usual claying and machine polishing as well as some other touches such as dark grille slats and lower bumper chrome.

              Very nice indeed!
What spec of '75 do you have to buy to actually get a sunroof, or is it another of those cars where you're banned from having a sunroof because it has air-con.

No doubt there was a base model with sunroof instead of aircon, but otherwise it would have been a case of paying extra to have both.

The ZR I owned last year had both fitted, although most of the ones I looked at before buying it had either one or the other.

I had a 2000 'W' Rover 75 Classic SE (in White Gold) in for a towbar fit earlier in the week and it had a sunroof!

My 75 V6 is back in daily use and today it came out to play with its twin (my Dad's matching 1.8)!

On later Rovers a sunroof was an option only. I think only the rare ZT 190 SE and 260 SE had them as standard - and maybe even more rare models like 75 V8 - but in general you didn't get one on a Rover 75 unless you paid extra.
