Last sunday I got an 8am coach from London to Coventry to pick this turbo up

Note my clever use of my AA membership to get the car home



Sorry Chris but its a bit of a shed. It seems solid enough underneath though.
Chris made it very clear the car had a over fueling issue which was suspected to be a faulty fuel regulator. I'm not so sure, but i have no idea what the issue is. Fuel coming out the pipe on the plenum that should be connected to the reg? Swapped a few fuel lines around to the correct places but i'm still stuck.
There's a post i found on here showing where the lines run to on the carb, they show 2 to the carb, 1 from the reg and 1 from what i assume is a swirl pot. However they show 1 fuel line into the carb and 1 vent? Where does the extra in pipe go?
Anyway, started pulling bits off tonight, 1 bumper mount was rotten and snapped and the other was rusty as hell. Gave them a clean and found some high temp paint to protect them a bit...

then refitted them to the cleaned, painted and undersealed front panel...



Its not a mint job but it was only intended to be a quick tidy up before i prep it for paint.
