Is there anyone out there in M&M land who could help me in getting a maestro rear end panel from Bradford down to Sussex?

I'm struggling to find a courier who will do the job without charging silly money. One wants to charge over £100, which is effectively what the panel has cost me, so I don't really fancy having to double the cost if I can help it The only other one - who were good about getting a tailgate to me - are not responding to my email requests and they don't have a contact phone number. So, I'm getting a bit desperate...

I'll be doing a trip from West Lancashire to Havant at Christmas if that's any help. Gladly drop it off at Havant if you can get it to me as don't have time for a run to Bradford.

Just in case, how big is it?

Thanks for the offer efiman, but I'd probably have as much trouble getting it to you in Lancs as getting it to me in Sussex! BTW its the complete tailgate aperture metalwork including the sparewheel well.

Ah, big then! Probably why it's difficult to find a courier.

        Have you tried www.shiply.com

Thanks for the pointer to Shiply efiman! Problem was that all quotes that came back were for silly money. Got me looking elsewhere though, and http://www.anyvan.com have come up trumps Best quote was for 2 day delivery and £85 - much better than the £150-£190 figures I was getting elsewhere!

If you buy both items would it not be cheaper just to drive & pick them up assuming they fit in the car that is.

Hermes Couriers seem good value generally.

I was thinking about doing a collection, had I not been able to organise a courier, but as it would be a 500+mile round trip for me, it would cost me more in diesel and possible overnight stop than I am paying for the guy I've booked.
BTW there is only one bit (albeit rather large) that I have bought....!
