Ok, all done for now. I've moved the remainder of the files over to the new server.

Few hiccups along the way with the gallery/classifieds software, the spares database, and the club shop, but all resolved now I hope.

Let me know if you spot a problem.

More downtime planned tonight folks - we're going to go for the upgrade of the forum software.

With a bit of luck the forum will only be down for about 30 minutes or so - we've had a test server running with the new software, and haven't found any fault, so we're going to go for it.

Also, Beaker will be pleased to hear we've gone for the blog software accompaniment, so you lucky lot that are members of the club will get your own blog so you can write about your cars. Stay tuned for more about that!

Forum will be unavailable from about 9pm tonight. Depending on how things go, the blog software may or may not make an appearance, but we may need to sort out some usergroups and permissions first, so don't be too disappointed if the blog stuff doesn't appear right away.

Ok, the observant among you will notice that the forum software has been updated. There's still some work to be done on the template side of things, but that will come over a period of days.

Any problems you see, please let us know.

If I can make another suggestion.

When we tidy the headings up on the time and add the classifieds and gallery direct links in. Can we make them to be all under a drop down list so as not to clutter the menu bar up (drop down like the quick links button). It would also be nice to have a link which said "home" or similar which directs us to the website pages.

Good work so far. Liking the new additions. I must admit, though, the appearance has been the same for 3 or 4 years now I believe. Is there any chance of offering users a choice of themes?

Larger avatar limit? Even 150px would do...
