    Hi my name is Sid jeffries just joined today I have a maestro turbo I’ve owned the car since 1991 it’s white in colour. Build no is 419.

    The only maestro I had in white was a 1.3 LX. Got any pics!

      Welcome Sid, would be great if you have a picture. I've never owned an MG Maestro. They have always appealed to me, but always expensive or need full restoration.

              Yes mate how do you know that it’s not been on the road for 16 years . Having trouble with it running keeps over fuelling had carb off cleaned it out but still the same

                Ah I'm from the old lot from many years ago and from memory your car is on the Maestro Turbo register. Have you checked the fuel return isn't blocked and also checked the float position? I'm guessing you're just starting to get it road worthy after a few years so all fuel lines will need cleaning etc

                  Yes car still on the turbo site . Trying to get it running because I am going to sell it .can’t drive it anymore had 2 knee replacements clutch to heavy for me now.just need to find out what it’s worth . Will check they fuel return later today and let you know thanks

                    Running and in good condition with no rust etc it's £8k upwards these days, shame you're having to sell
