  • Brake wires

The wires coming out from my brakes to a warning connector have perished
and I need to replace them but I can not find the type or safe amp rating???
(don't know the right word or term for it)
I want to cut a length off the old wires, solder in new and heat seal it up.

Does anyone know what wire I need and is it safe to get it from flea bay?
(Motor factors round here are useless and pathetic)

    Cheers
    S

why not just change the brake pads as they come with the wire already attached and do not cost to much if you look on e-bay

Its the wire from the loom to the brakes that is
      missins, about fourinches worth.
I have pared te wires in the protective sheath but
I need to bridge the gap with the right wire.

Those wires will carry next to 0 current, so any wire will be OK for the job.

As above anything will be fine. It'll carry no more than 0.5 amps in use.

None what-so-ever. If you did short it out the worst that would happen is the dash light for pad warning would come on.
