how difficult is it to swop the analogue dash for the digital one

i have a good later maestro and a rough early one but with the digital dash, considering swopping the dash over if not too difficult, what parts do i need to swop?

all of the sensors, the dash and some bits of the harness I think. I haven't swapped one myself, but I know people have. Is your early one an MG or a Vanden Plas? If the later one is efi, you may have problems with fuel flow sensor..

not too far apart then, but a lot of bits and pieces changed in 1986, so you might end up having to add to the harness, for things like the fuel flow sensor, hard to tell just how different the wiring is on parts list, as there are very few pictures in that section.. probably best to find someone that has done the job, I know a lot of the connectors are different from year to year..
