Nearside steering rack inner joint

Had a mot today passed but advised me that the steering rack inner joint as play in it do I need a new steering rack or is it a replacement joint?

The tie rod and joint are screwed into the end of the rack, so no need to change the rack. They can sometimes be a bit difficult to remove, but as long as you have some biggish spanners not too horrendous. If it is a manual rack, then I might have some spare ones.

I've got some reconditioned racks, I can take on off one of them if I can't find an individual one, probably be £15 with postage, don't think they are too heavy.
