  • Austin maestro ball joint bolts

My car was booked it for a ball joint to be fitted the garage said they could not fit it because there is 3x rivets they need 3 x bolts to fit it where can I get these bolts?

I think they are just m8 bolts with nyloc nuts, they should have been supplied with the joint.
The most important thing is when drilling out the rivets they drill all the way through! There is a pilot hole to help with this.
The holes in the wishbone are bigger than the holes in the joint, and the holes in the join maybe tapered if sand cast. Removing the head of the rivet will not allow the rivet to be removed.

As above, grind the tops off and either knock out the rivets or drill out, bolts are as above. Surely your garage found that out when looking at the wishbone?

They said they could not fit unless I get the correct bolts for it.

IIMO, and I think others would agree, I would remove your car from thus garage and find someone who will put a bit of effort, thought and can work on their own initiative.
          they sound terrible.
