  • Turbo ignition faults. Troubleshooting help required

I've looked, and read some helpful posts on non running engines, but I am looking for some help :

With everything back together I am getting no spark. Alas I fear it is the crank sensor though. Only reading 1.2 Ohms and book says 1.5 Ohms. . Also with meter between coil - and battery + on cranking volts are less than a volt and rise very little and then drops (I assume as it passes over the gap on flywheel) .. I have had to repair the cables on the sensor as they had fractured at the connector. Are new ones available? Are they the same as the efi?

Could anyone with some more technical savvy intemperate what I am seeing? I've replaced coil and have checked pins to coil and ign switch with ign on and both register 12v.
