  • Alloy wheel hub caps

    Hi, can anyone tell me how to remove alloy wheel hub cap, mine is rattling. need to remove and see why its so loose, worried it will come off and be lost

    Any help guys..

    They just lever off with a flat screw driver bob

      Thanks, so why would mine be so loose. Could all the retaining lugs be damaged?

        Likely you are missing the securing ring(s) (circle of steel wire with a small gap in it) which is supposed to be fitted inside the plastic lugs.

          Oh right...guessing they're not easy to come by then...any solution...apart from blu tack...

            Those centre caps for the dish shaped alloys can be hard to come by. The four lugs are very fragile and prone to snapping. Any less than three remaining and they'll come off. Blu-tak is a good help.
