can anyone give me a bit of help, I’m helping a friend with his vdp efi, basically the engine is no good but he has a very good 1.6 carb engine. It’s only used once a week but is loved and needed! He doesn’t have much spare cash so just needs to fit the 1.6 engine he has without buying much else! Can anyone tell me about the swap and what we need to do? I was thinking fuel returns to tank?? Ecu unit?? Wiring loom?? Any help grateful!!

The 1.6 engine is complete as removed from his last montego as in all ancillaries, clutch and gearbox. I am sure it has the front pipe along with manifold so exhaust should be easy enough -
Without the wiring harness it will be a bit of a pain, the ecu will be essential..fuel lines shouldn't be a problem tho'
