diesel lift pump

hi all ,it looks like i need a lift pump for my mont 1994 model,are they the same as a petrol or another vehicle? i seem to recall they are,any help much appreciated

If you email Sean Turnbull seanturnbull@hotmail.co.uk he might be able to help, if not, then this https://diperk.perkins.com/product/u...0000005326xAAA should be the right one, but may need the top turning to get the pipes to point in the right direction, iirc the plant/marine versions have the inlet and outlet almost 90 degrees clockwise compared to the automotive version. There are other similar pumps, but you might end up having to swap bases or the operating arm over, which only works if they are oem......
