  • Adjustable EFI ECU (Motobuild)

Anyone had experience of using one of these ECUs?

I presume to get the best out of it fine tuning is best sorted on a rolling road?

ADU 9217 is an EFI ECU, so god knows what they had to do to it, to make it suitable for "adjustability" is /was this on the new Turbo?

Not on the turbo, just one of the many spares I bought with the car.

Chances are I will just sell it on as I don't plan on keeping an EFI long term apart from F700 who will remain standard.

I remember these, there is a knob to adjust fueling. They were made to be used in conjunction with moto build heads and cams. They weren't cheap

I may fit it too the blue mg and give it a try if I get a chance.

What's it worth? I know what the seller wanted for it but he did a deal for 5 ECUs, some new alloys, panels etc etc

The only one I have is this modified one? I will go and check my Blue MG as I can test this on it as I think its possibly early enough.

I can't remember how much they were , I seem to think they were exchange plus about £150 .
I would keep it Lee, its one of those things you will want in a couple of years but they aren't exactly easy to find

I think you needed the motobuild chipped ignition ECU to go with it if I remember correctly? This give more ignition advance and a noticeable power gain with a Piper camshaft - Weber injectors - variable fuel regulator - exhaust - air filter.
