  • BL Day & Owners Club Awards - Ferry Meadows, Peterborough - 3rd August 2014

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

    Our biggest event of the year is approaching fast, The BL day returns for its 21st year and the club have a stand

    What:
    Annual British Leyland Rally & Spares Day


    Where:

    Ferry Meadows
    Nene Park
    Oundle Road
    Peterborough
    PE2 5UU

    When:

    Sunday 3rd August 2014

    Camping:

    You can camp at the venue the night before, or there are many hotels around the local area.



    Where do I get tickets:
    You can show up on the day, but you have to pre-book if you are camping - form can be found here : http://www.bmcblrally.co.uk/3.html

    This is a massive show for all BMC/BL fans. if you have to attend one show this year, this is it!

    The club stand will be there, all models of Maestro and Montego are welcome, no matter what condition.

    We will also be giving out the Maestro and Montego Owners Club awards at this event. so better get the polish out!

    Categories for the awards will be

    Best Austin Maestro - Owners Club Awards 2014
    Best Rover/Post Rover Maestro - Owners Club Awards 2014
    Best MG Maestro - Owners Club Awards 2014
    Best Austin Montego - Owners Club Awards 2014
    Best Rover Montego - Owners Club Awards 2014
    Best MG Montego - Owners Club Awards 2014

    Hi all
    Now that i'm back home after working away and holidays done I now have a little more time.
    So who's going to BL day on the 3rd August?
    I'm going and will be taking some Maestro sills, scuttle panels and some servo kits if anyone want's any of these please let me know.
    I also have a pair of Maestro rear arches for a plastic bumper model left that haven't been picked up, so will also be bringing those

      Can't fit it in as I'm showing the blue Mg locally, plus I'm the breakdown cover for a tractor my old man is driving to it!

                      Would a (badly painted daily driver ) van be welcome on the club stand? if so do I need to book or just turn up.
                      I am staying about 20 miles away with the caravan that weekend and would like to come along
