  • [Wanted] Maestro Driver's side A panel

Usual scenario. Been looking at two small rust scabs on the driver's side A panel for years.

Did nothing about them and now they have developed into major holes!!

Has anyone got a whole A panel section (a good second hand one cut from a donor car would be ok)?

    Cheers, Ian

What are you calling the A panel, Ian? I recognise the term in relation to Minis but not Maestros.

        Hi Pete.

It looks like the section is made of at least two panels.

The upper panel forms the windscreen and upper door openings and the lower panel contains the front door hinges and lower door opening.

I think the part numbers and description are:

BEP 916 -----Panel, windscreen side, RHS
BEP 2252 --- Panel assembly, "A" post lower, RHS

I would think getting the original panels is a non starter but someone may have cut out this section from a donor vehicle " just in case".

        Fingers crossed, Regards, Ian
