Rear damper, GSA2061 or GSA2052, you can use either if available, Rear springs NAM6269 or heavy duty NAM6251, bellows NAM1152, spring aid NAM3587, top spring rubber NAM3958. top spring cup, NAM3957, large top mounting NAM 1181 or NAM5968 as one is curved and either will do, sleeve/spacer NAM1247, small top mounting NAM1180, top washer NAM1182, top nut ADU8347. Most but not all of these part numbers are NLA but it's a starting point for you, this may also help with dampers but as always check first https://www.yoyopart.com/oem/5718296...n-gsa2061. Bellows etc are here https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2x-Austin...4AAOSw8UZaTA~c If you cant find any springs, here are the sizes on the last part of the thread https://maestro.org.uk/forums/forum/...08-spring-sizeLast edited by Jeff Turbo; 19th August 2020, 11:14.

Had a quick look around and not seen so far. Don't suppose you have the part number? Or whether they were fitted to other vehicles (Maestro excepted as didn't find much for those either)

Hi All
I need to replace the shock absorbers, springs and dust covers on the Montego 1.6L that I bought last month. For ease and cost, I'm thinking of just buying a coilover set rather than trying to source all the parts separately. Can anyone point me in the right direction OR know of anyone selling a complete set of original suspension. Many thanks.

Seems I have been beaten to it. I saw the car on classiccarsforsale and thought it might be my way back into Montego ownership.

I have spoken to Carly and bought the car today. I’m hoping to get it collected by Monday.

Car must now go. Get in touch and make a half decent offer and it might be possible to bag a bargain. The house where it lives is now sold so the car will go regardless.
