  • [Wanted] Interior panel clips

    Hello,

Does anyone have or know where I can obtain some of the interior panel clips used to hold the lower door seal trims on in a Maestro? They are the tree style clips with a head diameter of 30mm and total length of about 35mm.
    Many thanks

If you mean what I think you mean, then these are the same part, but slightly different colour https://rimmerbros.com/ItemSearch--s...u8026--srcin-1.

Thank you for the link. Yes they look to be similar to the ones I'm looking for. Not sure from the link which would be best.

on the parts list they are adu 8026 lg lg being the colour code (assuming yours is flint grey), so in theory the Rimmers ones should be the same part, but different colour, the L on the end of the number usually means it is a Land Rover part. I think that the granite one will be very similar, if it does stick out like a sore thumb, it should be possible to paint it with plastic primer and the correct shade of grey, I think there will be a post on here somewhere with suitable colours to match flint.

Thank you so much. It looks to be the same clip for the one removed from the car. The colour could be an issue, depends how bad the shade is. I think I'd be grateful of a new clip in any colour just to the hold the plastic trim correctly in place. I've ordered the 4 I need of the granite. I'll let you know what the colour shade will be like on it. I was tempted to order of of each of them, to see which one would be match. I think your right the granite looks to be close. Thank you so much for the link.

No problem, I think there are a few bits that are no longer available in flint, but can be found in granite...

Granite is darker than flint but at least your trim wont be flapping about and they are the correct type. Adrian has 5 in the correct colour (ADU8026LCG) https://www.xjrover.co.uk/roverindex Teesdale Classic car parts also have the correct colour (ADU8026 LCG) but as always check first https://www.inracing.co.uk/teesdale-...catalogue-a-b/

Thanks Jeff, that's helpful. I'll see if I can order those 5 if available. If I can get the correct colour, that would be better. I don't mind using the ones I've ordered from Rimmer's if it does indeed keep the trims in place.

Adrian has loads of small parts on his list, it's just a matter of searching as you know
