  • Pride of Longbridge convoy

I know there is no official PoL convoy from Hopwood this year, but that isn't going to stop us. There will be a Club-backed convoy for Maestros and Montegos from Hopwood Park Services at Junction 2 of the M42 to Cofton Park, where the Rally is being held. Anyone interested in being part of this, please put your name below. Times to be confirmed when we have an idea of numbers.

No set meeting pattern, just turn up and look for the Maestros and Montegos.

I could do this, but depends on meeting time. I'm coming from the North via
M6/M5 and will loop past Cofton Park to get to M42. I'll need to allow maybe 2 hours from leaving home, so it all depends on what time you're gonna meet at and what time the event starts.....let me know

There are a fair few of us heading South for the event - some from your neck of the woods. Time shouldn't be a huge issue, and in any case there are members to convoy down with as well

If memory serves last year convoys left at about ten so if we look at leaving between ten and half past we should be about right.

Definite time to be decided upon closer to the date, though!

Current convoy (Will update as and when names/cars pop up):

Ray and Sam - Austin Maestro 1.6 Vanden Plas
Ray's other car - Austin Montego 1.6 Mayfair
                        Jeff - MG Montego Turbo
                        Steve - Montego Mayfair 2.0i
                        Wayne - MG Maestro 2.0i
                        Paul - MG Montego Turbo
                        John - Rover Maestro L
                        Ryn - Austin Maestro HLE
                        Oli - MG ZS120+
