  • I will take more photos when i visit again either this afternoon or on the weekend. Apparently it's a former bus depot last used in 1979 (a few of the old buses remain). More photos will appear shortly anyway :-)

      • I had a suspicion it may have been a Mayfair but wasn't sure as it was dark and covered in a green sludge. Hopefully going back this weekend to see if i can save it

        • Red Montego Estate spotted in Epsom today whilst at work. Was a K plate but could'nt catch the full registration as I was up in my crane at the time!

          • Also spotted today passing my site in Epsom, another Red Montego Estate, a late 2.0 LXi with the registration M287 TKW. Generally in good condition but with fadigng paintwork to the bonnet and roof.

            • Parked in the Coalville area today, a Flame Red Maestro Clubman, H***XAB. Nice condition

              1990 Advantage, just 29k on the clock

                • Not quite a literal 'spotted', but does anyone know who owns the beige Austin Montego L, reg C175 KGB, up on the hydraulic lift on page 3 of the current Practical Classics (Spring 2012)? I've quickly thumbed through Staff Car Sagas and it doesn't appear to be a current staff car.

                  • It is; it's Neil Campbell's and has been since November despite not actually having been featured yet. Will be used in Project Beigemotion, his economy drive. You might recall I posted recently looking for S series big end shells, they're for this.

                      He bought it last year at BL day from a fellow member of the Boston classic Car Club who also owned a red Montego Estate
                      1958 Ford Consul Convertible. I love this car
                      1965 Ford Zodiac Executive. Fab cruiser being restored
                      1997 Jaguar Xk8 Convertible. Such a fab car

                      2004 MGZT cdti. Great workhorse
                      2004 MGZT V8. Black I love this car

                      • Spotted a white over grey Maestro in Lincoln the other day, looked in quite good nick
                        1958 Ford Consul Convertible. I love this car
                        1965 Ford Zodiac Executive. Fab cruiser being restored

                              do you know if he has the big end sheels yet. i have some oversize/thicker ones for sale
