Montego special edition

I was talking to a friend abouts cars I have owned over the years and it got me thinking about one in particular, from memory it was a special edition montego but can't remember the name of anyone can help,
it was F???BOV a black montego saloon with red trim, red door handles and accents on wheel trims, it had a 1.6 engine. Any help would be appreciated.

Montego Advantage was 2.0 carb only, not 1.6. There were many specials in the Montego range throughout the years but mostly it was a couple of things added.

I've never seen a special Montego with red door handles and the body being black. They were either coloured the same as the body or made in plastic and matt black. Was this from new or second hand when you bought it ?

I purchased it second hand but came with all paperwork
