Can someone please explain - I've never really understood, been able to visualise how a 6cm longer wheelbase (on Montego) can be achieved using the same floorpan?

The extra couple of inches are between the front of the fuel tank and the back of the front seats, so Montego has a bit more leg room in the back. The doors bottoms are the same, but the distance from door bottom rear corner to the aperture in the rear wheelarch is 2" more on the Montego. The back section of the floorpan is in fact not quite the same.. -
