Hmmm.....
There's the Wirral Classic Car Show which I went to on the 10th May. I'll give some feedback on the Northwich show as it's the first one for Classic Cars.
There were no Club stands at the Wirral show. Entry was free. I didn't book, just turned up. A good couple of hundred...

I've had a re-think, done some Googling. This Saturday, there is the FIRST Northwich car show. In previous years, more of a bike thing, this year on the Friday. I'll go to this, only 29.9 miles for me, avoiding the motorway. A leisurely, pleasant drive.
BUT, I do want to meet up with the Club!...

Anyone doing Hebden Bridge this coming weekend?
Morris Montego is itching for a show! Now with screen wash, working mirrors AND "Countryman"decals/coachlines - these were surprisingly easy to apply, only one tiny imperfection which I have just corrected.
It seems Saturday...

Nope, can't manage Rippon now.
However, I could maybe do Hebden Bridge next Saturday, 1st August. A quick look at website says Saturday mainly classics, Sunday vintage.

Damn! Just seen your message. This weekend - most likely too late now, but where, when?
Yes, the car is ready - I had just been avoiding longer journeys until the screen wash and wing mirrors were both sorted.
I am very keen to attend some shows before summer is over. Even some very...

Jeff, the nozzles arrived yesterday and I fitted them just now before I start work - I now have powerful jests of spay/wash across my screen. Brilliant, "Morris Montego" is coming along just fine!

Jeff, I'll have 'em. Just let me know the total. £15?
I have had a needle inserted into each nozzle but the wash is only coming weakly out of one, just trying on the other three.
I suppose to fit the new nozzles the wiper arms will have to come off again - otherwise I can't...

Well, I disconnected the pipe from the reservoir at the junction where it splits for each nozzle - water coming out here, so pump fine
I'll do more later, better do some work!!
But, I was getting a wheel rim skimmed on my MG6 at 8:01 and nipped by my Mum's to get some...

I'm thinking North West - Cheshire, Merseyside, North Wales.......
Is the Club, or any member of it, planning to head this way for even a small show?

.......and, oh, the little white rotor in the pump rotated freely bur I was expecting to see more, something more protruding with small fins ??

Screen wash - general
A separate post, the wiper parking now sorted -
I removed the pump for the WINDSCREEN wash, let the reservoir drain. A bit of gunk came out but nothing major. Ran a bit more clean water through the reservoir and no signs of blockage.
I replaced, reconnected the pump but still no...

Yes!!! I now have wing mirrors with internal adjustment.
A bit tricky getting the switch free from the connector, a little clip slotting into a hole in the switch, but all done. A big thank you again Jeff for the 'new' switch.

It's the weekend and time to work on the Montego!
I assume Johnny I do drain the windscreen wash reservoir before removing the pump?
Cleaned the connection to the pump already.
It's all a big learning curve for me, but I'm enjoying it, feel happy attempting things. Not since...

Well. it's the weekend and that means 'Montego Time'! Certainly Sunday and see what I can squeeze in today. Already spent twenty minutes investigating - I reckon I can pull the switch out just far enough to hold the connector with a pair of pliers and pull the switch off. Fingers crossed.
