  • Base model monty D203WDO ( VERY LARGE PHOTOS )

heres the original thread on this car
    http://www.maestro.org.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=16668

And this is how its looking just now

Am running out of room for all the tools to restore my car LOL

Not much has changed apart from moveing some things around the garage

Engine now has new rings and new colour of paint to near match the oporto red body

View from other side. High temp instant gasket was used for gearbox adapter

Engine bay in gray primer just now

    Tireless rim

    Restored off side front hub

it looks a great project Craig... any chance you could re-size the photos though?

the attention to detail's looking good - far better than me.

I forgot to say that I have solved the problem of my inlet heater manifold, It turns out a vw golf mk3 or mk3 polo (86c) chassis model has an inlet manifold heater that fits straght in to a s-series inlet with only some of the dimples needing cut off to fit

                              suspension bushes are rotten

Can I reuse the old springs even if they have alot of rust on them, Or am I risking safty with that much rust on them will they snap under load.
