I have been invited to BBC radio Lincolnshire to help promote the Boston Classic Car Show and I've accepted John Simpsons invite.
John Simpson is also the chief mechanic for Practical Classics and a friend of mine.
The car may well be on the airwaves on the 8th August in the afternoon all being well.
They must want to hear my Essex/Lincolnshire accent

Well my car has now done a few thousand miles and a few niggles I sorted today.
Had 2 engine oil leaks so I set about these
Jacked the car up, remove inspection plate and time up the engine





Remove cambelt

Remove cam and cover plate


Remove leaking seal

I have a few of these in my spares so new seal on

Cover plate, cam and cam belt back on and tensioned

Now the other side.
Remove all to reveal another leaking seal

New seal on and all running without any leaks
