we spent about 3 hours picking all the filler out with a wood chisel - then sanded, then cleaned the insert up - repainted them both. But I'm actually lieing and took the quick option of swapping them with someone else

Looking good. Can't promise after you've finished it'll go as well as your TVR and Westfield though lol.

Looking great Chris. Hope the adhesive strips live up to my recommendation.

so far so good John! had to trim a bit of the mouldings so the adhesive made good contact.

Ah yes, it's quite thin. Now you come to mention it, think I too had to shave-off the rough edges top and bottom so that they sat absolutely flush with the door-skins. It's a good thing in a way, they don't look as obviously taped to the door. And what looks even worse is when you use tape that's too thick and the strips protrude from the door-skins with an obvious gap, which also traps dirt and moisture.

Is it just me or does it have black plastic door handles not BRG?

yes - you are correct - they are the incorrect grey ones. well, there is one solitary green one on the other side - all on my shopping list!

Replacement aeriel fitted. And yes I forgot to tie some string to the end of the cable lol. So had lots of fun trying to feed it thru. After it was finally fitted I then released the mounting holes were not lined up, so I desoldered the brackets and swapped them, also fitted new unbutchered a pillar trim!
