Registered 2/12/1991, then changed hands 3/1/92 V5 says 'previously registered and/or usedprior to date of registration shown above. declared manufactured 1989... not sure why this is, maybe had a private reg from new...next owner had it until now, so must have liked it. Not at the top of my 'to do' list, but will be done.

only two not under cover are this, which is now under a car cover with a dehumidifier inside and the van..if I don't get enough time to get done what I want to over the next month, then I shall turn my mobile off for a month or two, turn it on once a day to delete all the messages.....that should sort it ha ha ha...

This is now dried out/undercover and thanks to some useful advice from Malcolm Watson, I now know that it's first year was spent in Military service.

I found a bit more out about the car's military history, its service erm was 95KH18 and was at PAC TPT Babcock Aldershot from 2nd feb 1990 until 7 oct 1991 when it was sold off at ADT.

No, he suggested the RLC archive and a FOI request to the MOD, the RLC archive couldn't find the details by vin number and I didn't have any other clues for them, so didn't do the FOi request, thinking that it too might be fruitless. Just recently I found this information by downloading a giant spreadsheet from the Merlin archive in the FOI section of the MOD website. Now that I have this info the RLC archive should be able to supply a full history, I've also put an FOI request in using that information, so with a bit of luck should be very well informed about the cars history..... It was Mal that made me aware of the fact that the car was ex MOD in the first place tho', so your guess was pretty close to the mark!
