Cosworth is basically a Pinto anyway, but too much power for the autobox.

Never cared for the Sierra dash but that looks like a genuinely decent car you've got there Andy, and I wish you all the best with it!

You mean the AR you come back to again and again?

I take your point about the rattles tbh - I've a few I need to sort out.

Is a nice Sierra you have got there Andy, inside looks really smart and clean. After looking at your pics I sort of thought to myself should I have kept my identical G reg Ghia that I let go of last year as it had the same interior as yours, but I could really only keep the one Sierra because of coming back to Montego's and my K reg Azura won hands down. The one thing I did keep from my G reg Sierra was the pair of very rare headlamp glass protectors that it had, these are now on the Azura.
I hope you decide to keep this car for a bit longer than you have with your others!!!!

Cheers for the link, I have'nt seen or been to this event. I may consider going to this event, don't know if I'll bring my Sierra or not as I would have to get it MOT'd and probaly sort a few bits on it and get it serviced but it's still a long way off yet. Has to be worth going to though.

Yes ,andy,as sam says, you always come back to the trusty old M's!!

Still ,i do like the old sierra, just a shame rover didnt kit out the turbo with the same toys as the "ghia's"!!

As for the pinto, its a beut of an engine,as good as the o series, but being a ford ,its more tuneable, and parts are more ready available!!

Still its let down ,this one ,with a autobox ( but thats just what you need ,of course!!).... ... comfort, not speed!!

Shame ,a mate of mine has a 42k mile sapphire,1.8 lx (cvh motor) in gold, with biege interior.....It is showroom condition, and he wants a grand plus,i think!!

                            Still,shame its the wrong colour,wrong motor,and in your case,a manual,not auto!!!
