Forum glitches and questions about how to use the forum

Please use this thread to report any forum glitches which you come across. For clarity, by glitches I mean things that don't work, so 'I can't post photos in x thread' not 'there's too much white space'. If you find broken links etc, please post them here. Also, if you have any questions about how to do things on the forum, please post them here and we will do our best to help. You are also welcome to contact me via personal messenger if you would prefer to.

The forum is due for a software update next week which will address the majority of the current glitches.

It's a bit slow this morning

Playing about with edit signature feature trying to upload an image - one from url and other to server - both don't work. Could be an Admin function that hasn't been switched on in board settings? Could someone look into that please as I'm sure its a quick fix?

Images are currently disabled in signatures - I've not touched the setting so I guess it's historical from the old forum.

It can be changed very easily, but the committee would need to let me know that they want to do it

There were a couple of database blips at 6.02 this morning, so I will take a look further into that. But this will be why it was slow. Should be all back to normal now.
I'm chasing the email thing.

OK, Jeff - I've just rebuilt and repaired the database this morning. I've also rebuilt a lot of the information that it scans through each time (avatars, topic information etc). Let me know if this helps?

I've also sent you another test email, this time with a different method, if you could let me know if you receive it?
