    I'll let you know Steve over the weekend, once I've had chance to quiz the current owner and got it transported back to Sussex. I'm presuming that the crank and shells are shot, so driving the 150-odd miles back home was out of the question!

      When I had it the timing was out by around a tooth and couldn't be adjusted easily as the alun bolt had been rounded off in the idler. Dont know if this is still so
