  • Maestro Clubman Turbo

    Hello all!

I am new here, to both this owners club and also the world of retro cars having only driven relatively modern cars until now.
I recently purchased a 1994 Maestro Clubman (pictured), one of the last to come off the line at Cowley, and I'm loving it! It's a cracking car, keeps up with modern cars and is a great conversation piece.
It's in fabulous condition having been owned by the same elderly gent since 1995 and garaged most of this time, and has original features right down to Maestro branded footwell mats.
There are however a few bits and bobs that I need to sort out, I've already replaced some damaged bumper end caps and have also got replacement gearstick gaiter and headlight glass needing to be fitted. I've found parts fairly hard to source, mostly I've set up some ebay alerts for what I need, but perhaps I'm looking in the wrong places and you guys will know where I can source things?

For now I'm most desperate for some rear wheel arches as there's significant rust on them currently (another original feature!). My local garage is unable to source them but has said if I can provide them they'll happily do the welding. Any pointers and advice will be very much appreciated.

    Thank you!

Yeah I'm struggling to find rear wheel arches as well....there are odd panels around but i suspect most owners that have them will keep them for their own cars... what we need to find is other cars with roughly the same arch profile that still has panels available methinks...even if rest of panel wont fit...

You can use front wings and reverse them as they're the same profile

True....I think every question has already been answered on the forum somewhere, just a case of realising and then finding it without getting sidetracked then spending the evening absorbing other information ha ha ha
