  • 2.0 EFI radiator

    Hi hoping someone can help I need a replacement radiator for my 1991 2.0i maestro I’ve tried having mine recored but no one can find a replacement core does anyone know of any company’s that supply or make to order new ones thanks in advance

    If you're stuck and can't get one you can replace with an mgf radiator. You will only need to re-locate the lugs that fix it to the front of the car. All else will fit

              On this thread, post 31, you will need to cut, move an reweld the locating points on the mgf rad, all else is the same https://maestro.org.uk/forums/forum/...mg-montego-efi

                I have fitted a MGF rad to a diesel Montego, The fan switch was a pain. The MGF dose not seem to have a fan switch so you will to make sure the rad you order has a place for one to go, (many don't) and drill it out to 22mm. The clip maybe different, I needed one of these, https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-CDU1502

                  Being a later model my son has this as on the thread pictures and as Andys is a 1991 it should also have that? There is a Montego Radiator on sale from Kevin Young on a facebook selling page but I don't know if it's already been sold, he is genuine https://www.facebook.com/marketplace...5&__tn__=!%3AD
