O-series lower timing belt cover

When I changed my timing belt on my 88 MG Maestro I noticed there was no lower timing cover.

I removed the top cover which was (I think) 3 bolts but there's nothing covering the lower part.

(Sorry, not a great photo of the area, but you can just make out the exposed belt under cam pulley.)

Is there a bit missing, and if so has anyone got a spare I can buy?

There isn't a bottom cover, only a top one covering the cam
