Fuel filter

Hi can anyone tell where the fuel filter on Austin meastro mg 1600 a series is.

From memory a 1.6 doesn't have a fuel filter

I think the digidash ones had a small metal canister filter on a bracket just below the fuel flow transducer, to keep it clean. The oe ones are nla as far as I know, but probably a good idea to fit a filter of some sort even if there isn't one there now, the transducers are also nla and don't like dirt... Norman will know which ones had them and which didn't, I'm pretty sure that none of the non digi dash 1600s had filters, but not 100% certain if all the digi dash ones did.
