  • wasser reservoir pump austin montego problems

I am disassembling to change the engine timming belt. To remove the alternator belt I have taken out the window washer tank, I see that the pump has a broken outlet pipe, I do not find it new and I do not know which modern ones are compatible, for example, SIDAT serves SIDAT - 5.5192? (OSCARO recomendation? If they have the same diameter, I think I will be able to attach it. Thank you very much in advance!!!

What engine is it Pedro? Don't understand why you would remove the washer tank to do this. I'm guessing you have broken the pipe on the washer pump ?

Jeff: I have removed the window washer to easily access the top of the alternator and remove the belt. When I took out the tank I saw that the washer pump is broken, the down pipe. I have already installed the new timing belt

The part numbers for left hand drive (which I guess yours is if the pump is near the timing belt) are AFU 4054 and GWW 195. I can not find a cross reference for these numbers. I do not know what the difference is between left and right hand drive, the right hand drive one is GWW 130, it is the same as Land Rover and Mini. This ebay listing has a picture of it and a list of alternative part numbers / other cars that use it, it might be possible to use it on a left hand drive car... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/324080833007 good luck, John
