  • Clutch Cable for MG Turbo

Not all the clutch cables are the same and depend on the engine. There is also a difference between the cable for the 2.0 EFi and the Turbo. They are the same for both Maestro and Montego. The Turbo cable specifically is OEM: GVC5025. Equivalents are: First Line - FKC1222; Motaquip - VVC334; Qinton Hazell - QCC1375; Delphi - BB11375C; and Auto Delta - CC1375

That's interesting, I always assumed that, apart from the 'faulty' early auto adjust cables, the different part numbers were just minor differences in the length to allow for different routes. I've got a boxful of cables with various numbers on & slight differences in length & up to now I've got away with selecting them at random, checking they are for the right gearbox & sticking them on. One day I might get a crappy adjuster one I guess, but have been lucky to date.
