Sadly after being sat round for 2 weeks, outside in the weather,I no longer had the space to keep it at its present address, so sadly it has been scrapped!!!!

SCRAPYARD WATCH: Cooper's Car Spares, Livesey Street, Sheffield.

1993 Countryman 2.0i, BRG, looks like the result of a forced entry. All 4 doors shot, interior not that bad barring the dash which is cracked and lifted. Bonnet (With Euro-spec ROVER badge) and tailgate look good. FULL set of roof rails/bars.

Car will be there for a week, apparently.

My MG Maestro spares donor has two BRG electric mirrors.

I could be persuaded to part with them rather than fit them to the Advantage.

But no great rush, as the car is stored 80 miles away

Came across this today, which was lucky ,because i dont get down the scrap yard much these days, but was lucky to have quite a few bits off of it.......

A 1.6 hl with plush velor trim, aftermarket sunroof,it had been sat in a farmer's field for approx 12 years (last taxed 2000)...it had rotted away quietly, with animals living in and around it!!!

Gypsy's had managed to persued farmer to part with it,along with a '89 yugo, and a '94 mk 5 escort td,which were also left to rot!!

There is an H reg Maestro 1.6 Auto in a scrapyard in Rochford. Looks like it's been parked outside somewhere for a few years but appears pretty much complete apart from the tailgate struts which I took for my Maestro. It has been put in a corner with the rarer/older stuff so will probably be there a while yet. The reg is H202 LVX.

                          Here's the address:

Spotted this at my local Scrapyard last weekend. Sorry for poor quality photo.........my phone camara isn't the best

Looked to be pretty much complete apart from rear wheels missing. Interior was immaculate (crack free dashboard and even the headlining seemed good). I think it was a 2.0 petrol but not sure.
