  • MG Montego Turbo

I tried to buy this car many years ago after his wife passed away but he was reluctant to part with it. Now he has passed away, it's lovely https://www.bing.com/ck/a?!&&p=6af75...VhYjJiOGVhM2Ez

This would be the car that would bring me back into MG Montego ownership, if I had a spare £15k I would go for that as I think it'll make that. Wonderful thing

You never know, it might be a bargain, depends how the buyers are on the day...Very nice car tho', won at least one trophy at Corbridge show. If I hear that there's been a George Davis style 'withdrawal' of about £15k from a bank in Lincoln, I'll suspect that you may have been so tempted that you turned to crime

Hah, I wouldn't expect it to sell for less than £12k. Won't be a bargain. I will put a bid on it though but won't expect to win it

Never seen this car in the flesh but heard of it . In June i was told by someone who worked with him( think he was the service manager) that it could be for sale as the owner hadn't been well. If there is any justice it should sell for a good price. I agree with you Jeff at £12000 i would say its a steal and £15000 plus should be nearer the mark. Will be interesting to see how it does.

Thats a shame he has passed away. Use to see him at shows quite regular years ago. Sure his wife used to come in a morris minor. Back then he had the original alloys and tyres on and use to ask everyone if they new where he could get new metric tyres from. He obviously failed on that venture.
