    New black mirror covers on.
New rear springs and bushes on
    MG Turbo decal now on
    New lights now on
    New indicators now on
    Replacement dash in
Seats stripped and gone to refurb
Replaced front springs, top bearings and top bushes
Couldn't do anything else as a guy saw my car and wouldn't go away. Kept talking about one he had in the 1990's.
An hour later................he finally walked off taking various pictures of the car. I had to put it back into the garage as i'd run out of time by then

All that's letting the exterior down is the salmon-pink MG badge on the back. Have you ever considered masking-up the silver parts and respraying it?

In true Blue Peter style, here's one I prepared earlier, just to give you an idea of the technique and results:

Thanks Dave, your all very kind.
I have the clutch to replace next then a few other things that need doing
I've also had the rear metal waterpipe fabricated in stainless steel as mine after 22 years is on it's last legs.
I've had 4 done. One to go on my Turbo, one as a spare, one to Andy for lending me his good template and one to sell if anyone needs it. I'm hoping to pick them up next week when they are ready and will post up piccys of them.

Maybe but not till i've done everything I need to do and Steve have 'done his thing' with it.
I'm lucky here in the Lincolnshire MGCC as they like MG Montegos/Maestros/Metros and don't slate anything. If it has an MG badge on it and made to be an MG, then it's an MG plain and simple.

It did go very smoothly, both in doing it and the actual application! Took best part of the day but we did have several tea breaks and large lunch inbetween.. We got a little confused with the sunroof part until we realised that you had mentioned how to do it right at the end! You should ask for the instructions to be put up as a 'sticky' on all the forums...

Thanks again, beer on us when we next see you!
