Ouch! Let me know when you're feeling a bit better or a bit freer workwise, and if it's still on the cards I'd appreciate it if you'd view it for me.

Start Again!!!!!
Great News, took her for MOT today, and only 3 minor points picked up.
Slight Exhaust Blow
Blocked Washer Jet
Fuel pipe leaking
All these will be sorted tomorrow and she will have 12 months MOT.
I will then advertise her on here for reasonable offers, to a GOOD HOME.
Cheers. Alan.

I'm glad you took the time to sort the car out - its good to see someone coming on here with a car and trying to make sure it stays on the road rather than the usual people putting stuff up for sale with no MOT etc!
I'm 100% sure you'll find a buyer now - hopefully to a good home and with a decent price for you!
someone on here must be interested!!CURRENT FLEET:

Found this on eBay

Not sure what this means though (from the description)
This car would suit a genuine classic car / maestro enthusiast - if they exist?Last edited by CPL593H; 1st November 2011, 09:01.

Just been looking at the photos again on ebay, and it really does look a nice car.
what you have to weigh up is that its interior looks mint, all 4 doors look really tidy, as does the bonnet and tailgate. the sills should be ok if they were done 4 years ago.
the only bad bits look like the back bumper needs spraying. the front wings could do with changing and the rear arches could do with repairing - but dont look totally dead.
If I didn't have too many cars already I'd give this serious consideration. front wings could be found for less than a tank of fuel. then spraying up at a decent bodyshop wouldn't cost too much? the rear arches are the only hard bit to deal with. how much to get them professionally done - and would you really want to initially - or could you just deox gell them and paint them in as a temp fix?CURRENT FLEET:
