    depends on where you are.

I'm always bouncing between the barn(wetherby) and home (Wilthsire)

not that far then, often had peeps from ipswitch, gloucester, and carlisle come to barn meets.

Mind you, I usually go M1 A/M42 M5 so, if you need anything pm me, and I will see what I hav.

Great work there. Brings back memories of when I did mine about 10 years ago-no 96. I had to weld in a new rear floor just like you have done, as well as sill work and replacement of various doors, wings and tailgate. Keep going, it will be a lovely car when it's finished!

its great to see a proper restoration too - rather than just a re-shell...

keep putting the photos up, its nice to see a job like this progress because it gives you the inspiration to do work like that yourself.

my only problem now is at 5 cars i can't take on any more projects. but i wish i could have a go at one like yours...

the offside rear quarter has the fuel filler pocket in it, if you havn't got one already Matthew Semple can get them made for you via the MGM club in GRP... they are quite hard to get hold of otherwise; although I did find an original steel one on ebay for mine.

i had to drill the hole a bit bigger on the rear and elongate the front holes to suit the front hub.

Looks like your doing a great job with the restoration

What coilovers are they? They look suspiciously like mk1 golf ones
