Don't park it too close to the others that rustworm looks contagious. lol .Looks like you got lots of 'goodies' with it plus a lovely interior. The previous owner was obviously thinking of a major restoration judging by the number of parts.
So are you going ahead with the reshell idea you mentioned?
Yep oli,
I've bought the shell and also done a deal with the guy.
I'm the cockeney Mike Brewer. Old ya And Out pmsl
Hopefully shouldn't take too long to strip it back to the B posts

As for acid dipping, I have also heard horror stories with peoples projects after this process is done.
One that shocked me was hearing about propper works subaru rally cars rusting from the inside out because the acid strips protective paint away from areas you cant easily repaint. Obviously being rally cars, they are only needed for a year and then passed on so you could say the same care isnt taken over the painting. But it goes to show if the priming isnt done right on your pride and joy, it will start to rust straight away.

Decided not to have the shell dipped as A its too much money and B I don't think it needs it

Well started the strip and it's too far gone to be welded to the rear shell.
Will have to have a re-think.
Filler all over the place, undersealed over the rust

Everything is either covered in underseal or wax, unfortunately he left it too late as he just painted it over the rust.
Scuttle is well gone, front panel just crumbles as I touch it, Sills are full of filler as are the panels in front of the sills and I've know doubt I will find more horrors when I remove the engine and interior.
This will not now be welded to the shell I've bought so a re-think is in order before it's scrapped.
I do have a couple of ideas that might save the car
