Maestro rally car rebuild

I rally an MG Maestro 1600. The 'rorty 40s' are absolute magic -what a fantastic noise! It sounds like a MkII Escort rally car -a real snarl (goes well, too).
When we are all driving electric cars in the future we will remember the days when cars sounded throaty.

The car is away at my boss' workshop where we are doing the wiring but hes a very busy guy so it will just be done when its done.
There really isnt any rush as I have missed too many events this year to bother going for points. So the plan is to spend the rest of the year testing and and maybe get one rally in at the end of the year so its ready for the 2016 season. This will let me save up too which is ideal as its going to get expensive again when I get back into rallying properly.

Hi Ross
Wow that looks fantastic a credit to you mate i wish my maestro racer looked like that, I'm definitely keeping mine now i have sold the spaceframe mini to free up some space and cash for the maestro restoration which i hope to start some. I will post some pictures up on here soon.
Those arch panels spot on.
Cheers
