My NOS metric tyres will now be put on so the car can finally come off axle stands. First time for a year or so.

All back on now and the car now starts if I put fuel into the carb.
Will put a couple more gallons into the tank and see how that goes, if the fuel pump still wont prime I will change the oil pressure switch
Will also be checking the fuel ecu etc before finally putting a dash in.
Also fixed the 'clicking' when trying to start the car, I hadn't tightened up the front offside earth lead enough. Good call BIGDAVE

As ive now sorn my digidash I can now concentrate on this car.
    Sooooo Andy strikes again.
Had to remove the inlet and exhaust manifold to get to the crank sensor.
2 bolts were loose so in a way it did me a favour.
Before putting a replacement sensor I checked it and it's working.
New sensor on and didn't bring a spare manifold gasket with me. Buggar as I was also wanting to put the dash in. Oh well will put to gether on the next trip

Yep, deffo crank sensor, supposed to light up. When switched to dynamic and crank the engine over it still doesn't light up.

Not yet Dave, didn't get long on it as I was also selling 2 MG Montego's from my barn and that took time as both had duff batteries.
They're being picked up soon so I can spend sometime on it. Probably something silly as I replaced the whole wiring loom

Inertia switch tony. Already swopped that for another incase that was faulty.
Will have to use my fast check and voltmeter probably to find the problem

Cam seal sorted, Cross thread fixed, new rotor arm, distributor cap on.
Carb on and all fixed up.
Put the battery on, put fuel in the tank, poor a little into the carb and ................nothing, still no spark.
Changed the coil, ignition ecu and still no spark so will take my fast check and voltmeter next time to find out what's wrong.
    Fuel pump still not priming
Also the starter motor and relay are 'clicking' when it turns over the engine, not sure atm what's causing this.
