Curse of Andy struck again today.
Petrol vent pipe done.
Fuel filter on
Spark plug leads on
Coil connectors fitted and on
Turn car over and......no spark
Remove distributor cap and the grub screw for the rotor arm wasn't in properly and is cross threaded.
Cam seal also has a leak so will fix both and try again.
Fuel pump doesn't prime so that's a problem to be sorted.
Will also have to change the starter motor as it's making clicking noises as it turns the engine over and the relay is clicking. Perhaps the wrong teeth amount.

Plenty done today
Wiring near completed ready for the dash to go in.
Checked all electrics. All electric windows now working, horn working, wipers all working, door mirrors working but need to replace the switch, central locking on all doors working, door handles now all red. Front carpet nearly in.
All lights, indicators etc all now working
Replace carb next and complete the fuel part as im putting a filter between the tank and fuel pump, also have to find a spare vent pipe for the fuel pipe as Andy had cut it
Also have a completion date from my son so he can drive it ..................................July 2015, gulpLast edited by Jeff Turbo; 16th February 2015, 15:44.

After nearly a year of just sitting there I finally had half a day this morning spare to re-start work on this car.
Bonnet replaced with one from the sheddy turbo, grill sorted, front bumper all bolted up, turbo elbow all on and bolted up and a quick rub over with an oily rag.
