I think i've found a solution for this large opening for the front interior lamp as all were too small for the opening
From a Ford KA/Transit

I should be able to modify it to attach to the biscuit and fit into the opening.
Any comments or suggestions for this?Last edited by Jeff Turbo; 21st November 2013, 19:04.1958 Ford Consul Convertible. I love this car

I got this idea when I was in turkey on holiday when I was in a merc minibus being picked up from the airport. The lamp on that would have been perfect but I can't find one here so this is the next best thingLast edited by Jeff Turbo; 24th November 2013, 04:09.1958 Ford Consul Convertible. I love this car

Wired the electric window loom to a battery off the car and it all works now for the first time in 10 years. Chuffed so once put into the car I can put the dash in. I now have 2 'one shot' switches working as I did the same with the other one so not bad then and I'm very pleased
Sorry the pictures are blurred but I couldn't get good close upsLast edited by Jeff Turbo; 27th November 2013, 12:03.1958 Ford Consul Convertible. I love this car

Good achievement getting those to work again Jeff. Did you manage to get the heater control to work? Sorry if you have mentioned this earlier?
