Nice to have friends Sam, it's also who and what you know

Internal workings of seat belts that I modified.
On the left is a front belt, on the right is a rear belt.
Remove the screw on both belts, pull off the workings and attach to the other unit keeping the spring where it belongs and tighten the screw. Re-attach the cover and it works perfectly.

Wasn't talking as the radio wasn't plugged in. I now have another complete digi dash set up, wiring loom, sensors, talking unit etc courtesy of Rick just in case it was something else.

I owned one of those talking dash montego's years ago - nice to see one again. It was a light metallic green A reg (1984) MG 2L EFI. Nice car - had the digital speedo go up to 120mph once - on a private road of course lol. How many are left today i wonder? The trip computer can be way out and light bulb senors can fail easily if i remember correctly. Good project Jeff - looking forward to the finished article.

PS - does it still talk?

New offside seatbelt and new rear offside seatbelt.
I now have 2 new rear offside seatbelts, can these be used as nearside?
Been experimenting with the rear belts to turn these old grey front belts to these, new front belts.
Have tested and found they work perfectly, fit ok and look great.
The front and rear belts are nearly the same so I have modified them to fit the front.

They should be black I know but I much prefer red ones, more classy
