It's been kept in a warm place Mike. It's from Martin McFeely, John's son but it is Johns radio and spare switch.
One of those, it was working 10 years ago

Nope. Not for sale as at the moment one will go in my other digidash and the other in my black Turbo.

The wheels and centres are in very good condition Ray but the tyres are shot. I do have in my spares department 4 good tyres though that I bought last year so they will be going on it.
I plan to keep with metrics if I can

2 band LW MW electronic radio/stereo cassette with digital display was standard for the MG EFi. Part number GCA640, later superceded to AJM1640 An optional extra was the 3 band version of the above which is more useable today having a stereo FM waveband as well as LW and MW. This was part number GCA641 which was superceded to AJM1641. Those GCA part numbers suggest Unipart items, although I suspect the radios were supplied by Radiomobile originally, until 1986 when Philips units were specified across the range.

On these early Montegos, a joystick balance control was specified as well DRC8900.

I am fairly certain that the connectors were the black and yellow Total Terminal Security multiplugs, which were freely available up to about 5 years ago then supplies just dried up...They are re-useable with new pins, however.

Last update for the year and possibly till mid-February when I next get any time to spend on it.
Door cards finished and cleaned up so just need to check the inner door frame to see if the holes line up, should do but this is Austin/Rover so might not
